With a distinct look featuring a vibrant orange streak in my hair and bold glasses (now replaced by Lasik), each daily self-portrait was shared on my Instagram. Drawing inspiration from diverse sources like the color palette of My Little Pony, the cynical posture of Bojack Horseman, the supernatural powers of the X-Men, and the hilariously sly llama in The Emperor’s New Groove (one of the greatest Disney films ever), I aimed to capture the essence of each iconic style.
Inktober was pure artistic exploration – a chance to dive headfirst into the vibrant worlds of cartoons, games, and comics I loved. Each day brought a new prompt, a fresh opportunity to translate these iconic styles into my own voice. Forget about social media pressure or follower counts – this was about pure, unadulterated joy of creation. It wasn't about the finished product, but the journey itself, the thrill of experimentation and the satisfaction of honing my skills. And let me tell you, it was a blast!
